Spyware infestation up 50 percent!

Spyware infestation up 50 percent!: "

The annual survey conducted by Harris Interactive for the security firm Websense, found that the number of companies reporting spyware infestations had jumped 50 percent in the last year alone, and now nearly 92 percent of companies report that they have found spyware on their networks.

Hasn't this happened to you? You realize your personal computer has slowed so much and no amount of disk cleaning or fragmenting does nothing to help it speed up. Chances are that your PC now hosts spyware and though it did not lead to total shut down your work is getting affected with delays.

You get spyware in your system without your knowledge and basically it monitors your journey through the Internet and let’s third parties know where and what you are interested in. Spyware differs from viruses and worms in that it does not usually self-replicate. Typical tactics employed to get in are through unsolicited pop-up advertisements for commercial gain.

So people like advertisers get this information to send you their advertisements and put all your gathered information any, which way they please. The only solution is to reformat your drive and reinstall your operating system. Then install stronger Firewalls

"
On some of my computers I cannot get rid of spyware, nast stuff.
