"My friends over at PauldotCom published their list of "Top Five Security/Hacking Blogs". I regularly read every one of the sites on their list, but there are a couple additional sites I thought might be worth looking at occasionally if you're a security professional:
Okay, that last one was a gratuitous plug. So sue me. Have a good weekend.
- Security Fix - Brian Krebs on Computer and Internet Security: Brian gets the details on breaking events, not just the surface facts. His recent article on the Citibank phishing incident is a good example of this.
- Security Focus: Another place I've seen a lot of good articles.
- United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT): Not so much the place for up to the minute news, I use it more as a barometer of security in general.
- Microsoft Security Responce Center Blog: If you want to keep up to date on Microsoft patches, and who doesn't, this is the place to go. They frequently respond with additional information on patches and with advance warning of upcoming patches.
- Security - Computerworld: They've got a lot of good people writing for them, especially some guy named Martin something. And that Michael Farnum's not all that bad of a writer either. :-)
