The Sandbox is open!
"Today I'm excited to announce that Microsoft has llaunched the Sandbox. As I explained on the home page, the Sandbox is an area of the NetFx3.com site that has been designed to use Windows CardSpace. The first release of the sandbox is designed for use with Internet Explorer 7.0 Beta 3 and the .NET Framework Runtime Components July CTP. You can find the list of requirements and step-by-step instructions here.
We plan to make several changes to the Sandbox site over the next few months. Some of these changes will include supporting additional browsers, supporting newer versions of the .NET Framework Runtime Components, and improving the user experience. Eventually, we plan to incorporate the support for Windows CardSpace into the rest of the NetFx3.com sites and several other sites. So in some ways you can think of this as a live test site, or playground for Windows CardSpace - hence the name
