Microsoft doesn't see Live as just a bunch of disconnected online services. Windows Live is also a development platform. Windows Live will be the hub for all of the online services Microsoft builds, going forward.

Microsoft is off to a bad start in the services business. It just looks like another agenda to sell windows. Which is exactly what I think it is.
